Natural disasters such as hurricanes and tidal waves can be predicted but not prevented. Global warming caused by energy consumption is causing the ozone layer to weaken. What would happen if the hole in the ozone layer expanded, weakening the earth's atmosphere enough for a star or even a planet from space to be affected by it?
If a planet were to implode because it was affected by our earth's ozone and the alterations in temperatures here on earth and because of this its being pulled through space towards our ozone layer. The many pieces of rock from the star would be in essence meteors crashing through our earths barrier and landing in London, taking out many lives in its destruction but also causing life altering evolutionary transformations in our once plain Jane's and Johns of this world.

Our tale begins in a small town known as Johnstown, where the population of three-hundred will be put to the test, their lives are about to change for the better or for the worse. The cause of these DNA mutations, will be the big bang theory where a not so far off star implodes and is bound for this town and this town alone. Allies may be formed in the afflicted and will the regular town folk decide to attack those who are different to themselves?
