Keyblades
A keyblade is known as the most powerful weapon in the world. It is an amazing weapon of great strength and magic, and is a key factor in the battle between darkness and light. It is unclear as to why keyblades appear, but they are known to manifest and be born as personal weapons to their chosen wielders. Keyblades main ability is to unlock or lock any door, whether it be a physical door, the door to a world, or even the door to someone's heart.
Keyblades choose their wielders by the strength of their hearts. Some wielders of great power have even managed to wield two keyblades at once. Those with great strength in their hearts have often been known with the ability to steal keyblades from others or to wield abandoned keyblades.
Keyblades are unique in the sense that they are able to deal damage to creatures such as heartless and nobodies, which are otherwise unharmed by physical objects. While they may appear dull or fragile, they are extremely powerful weapons. Some wielders have even managed to turn their keyblades into gliders.
